VPI Machine Successfully Installed and Commissioned in Mexico

Our VPI machine for dry type transformer was installed and commissioned in the month of October 2024 successfully in the 3rd largest transformer manufacturer in Mexico. Customer is very satisfied with the quality of equipment and trail production.

After completing installation and commissioning of machines and equipment in Mexico and USA (Including transformer Double-layer Foil Winding Machine, High Voltage Winding Machine, Insulation Paper Slitting Machine, Multi-functional Busbar Processing Machine and Auto-feeding Cardboard Shearing Machine and so on), now VPI Machine was also successfully delivered to the customer.

Introduction of Vacuum Pressure Impregnation Equipment （VPI）

The purpose of the coil vacuum coating is to improve the moisture resistance, heat resistance, insulation and mechanical properties of the coil winding. The basic requirement of processing of the coil is impregnated, filled and stuck, and formed a tough and elastic paint film on the outer surface of the coils.

VPI is used to coat the surface of the coil and penetrate into the internal gap under vacuum and pressure circumstances.

Compared with the general coating technology, its main advantage is that the film is uniform and dense, with firm adhesion and good insulation performance.

The Vacuum process is a key part in the production and the quality and efficiency of production are directly affected.

This equipment is suitable for motor and transformer impregnation processing, suitable for using Dupont NOMEX paper insulation to dipping production of motors, motor of MORA in Germany technology can meet the production needs.
